We are passionate about Provence, about history, and about Mary Magdalene above all. It is that shared passion that gave rise to Aura Magdalene, with one simple conviction: this story, among the finest in the West, deserves to be told with rigour, beauty and generosity.

Aura Provence designs cultural experiences and stays in Provence for travellers and companies: intimate knowledge of the region, partners chosen one by one, and a taste for storytelling. It also operates as a destination management company for travel agencies and tour operators, in France and internationally. Aura Magdalene is its natural extension: the same standards, applied to the greatest story Provence has to tell.
The guide-lecturer
Our tours are designed and led with state-certified guide-lecturers, specialists in Mary Magdalene and sacred Provence. Their strength lies in holding together the sources and the legend, scholarship and feeling. With them, a fourth-century crypt, a Romanesque capital or a path beneath the beeches becomes a story. Our journeys are accompanied in French, English and Spanish.
